Deliver real value and results.
Find out what Project Management at Resource Data is like.
Professional Journey
Technical and diverse backgrounds.
We pride ourselves on delivering projects that meet our clients’ needs on time and on budget, and that’s largely thanks to our team of project managers. Most have backgrounds in traditional programming, GIS, or other technical fields. Many even gained their experience right here at Resource Data. If you have a technical background, the agility to work across a range of industries, and are a top- notch communicator with both technical and business audiences, you’ll fit right in.
The Work
Variety is the spice of life.
There’s no shortage of variety in the work you’ll do. Our project managers take on projects ranging from small prototype engagements to long-term, full-cycle implementations. Most of our Project Managers are regularly working on multiple projects for multiple clients across multiple industries. You’ll keep projects on track and deliver the results and value that our clients have come to expect.
With every client and project I work on, I get to encounter new problems and situations. I really enjoy the problem-solving aspects of my work and seeing the improvements we make positively impact our clients.

Skills
Communication skills are key to successful projects.
Ask our project managers what skills they use to succeed, and the first answer is unanimous: Communication. You’ll fit right in if
• You’re a strong communicator, both written and verbal
• You have excellent listening skills
• You pay attention to details
• You’re highly organized and can balance multiple priorities
• You can quickly learn new industries and come up to speed on company cultures.
Challenges
Quick on your feet helps to meet challenges.
Whether it’s leading change management, staffing a project, or convincing a prospective client that we’re a good fit for them, project management is full of challenges.
You’ll need to quickly learn your clients’ business, what’s important to them, and what they really expect out of the project. The learning curve can be steep, and the stakes are high, but it’s the challenge that keeps project management at Resource Data interesting.
