Cookie Policy

Effective / Last Updated: September 28, 2026

1. Scope and Relationship to the Privacy Policy

Resource Data, Inc. (“Resource Data,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on resourcedata.com and other Resource Data webpages that link to this Cookie Policy (collectively, the “Site”). This Cookie Policy explains what these technologies are, the categories we use, their general purposes, and the choices available to you.

Our Privacy Policy explains how Resource Data collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information, including information collected through cookies and similar technologies. It also describes applicable privacy rights and how to exercise them. This Cookie Policy supplements, and should be read together with, the Privacy Policy.

2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are

Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device when you visit a website. Cookies may last only for a browsing session or may remain for a longer period.

The Site may also use technologies that perform functions similar to cookies, including pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, IndexedDB, and comparable browser or device storage or identifiers. These technologies can help a website recognize a browser or device, remember settings, support security and functionality, understand how the website is used, and measure marketing or advertising activity.

Some technologies are set directly through Resource Data’s Site, while others are provided by third parties whose services are used on or integrated with the Site.

3. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies

Resource Data uses cookies and similar technologies for purposes that may include:

  • operating, securing, and maintaining the Site;
  • supporting page navigation, load balancing, fraud or bot detection, recruiting features, and other Site functionality;
  • remembering privacy choices or other preferences;
  • understanding how visitors use and interact with the Site;
  • measuring Site performance and improving content, functionality, and user experience;
  • measuring campaigns, referral sources, and marketing effectiveness; and
  • supporting advertising or related marketing functions where applicable.

Depending on the technology, information collected may include IP address, browser or device information, online identifiers, referring pages, pages viewed, dates and times of visits, Site interactions, and approximate location derived from IP address or similar information.

4. Categories of Technologies We Use

The Cookiebot declaration at the bottom of this page groups technologies detected on the Site into the following categories. Whether a particular technology appears during your visit may depend on the page or feature you use, your browser or device, and your privacy choices. Individual technologies within each category may change as the Site and the services supporting it change.

4.1 Necessary

Necessary technologies support core Site operations and functions such as security, bot detection, load balancing, session management, privacy-choice storage, recruiting functionality, and other features needed for the Site or an integrated service to function properly. Some Necessary technologies may remain active because they support these core functions.

4.2 Preferences

Preference technologies are technologies Cookiebot classifies as supporting preferences or related functionality that affects how the Site or an integrated service operates for a visitor.

4.3 Statistics

Statistics technologies help Resource Data understand Site usage and performance. They may measure visits, sessions, pages viewed, interactions, screen or device characteristics, and similar information so we can evaluate and improve Site content, functionality, and user experience.

4.4 Marketing

Marketing technologies may support advertising, campaign measurement, referral attribution, conversion measurement, or related marketing functions. Some Marketing technologies may track activity across websites or online services or otherwise disclose website identifiers or online activity information to advertising providers.

Under California law, certain advertising-related disclosures may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information even when no money is exchanged. Resource Data’s current California disclosures and opt-out rights are described in our Privacy Policy. California residents may use the Your Privacy Choices link in the Site footer to exercise applicable opt-out rights.

5. Current Cookie and Similar-Technology Declaration

Resource Data uses Cookiebot to publish an automatically generated declaration based on cookies and similar technologies detected on the Site. The declaration provides available information such as technology name, provider, purpose, storage duration, and technology type.

Because the Site and third-party services can change, the Cookiebot declaration may update more frequently than the narrative portions of this Cookie Policy. The current Cookiebot-generated declaration appears at the bottom of this Cookie Policy page.

The declaration is a scan-based record of detected technologies and does not mean that every listed technology runs on every page or for every visitor.

6. Third-Party Technologies

Some technologies used on the Site are provided by third-party services that support functions such as analytics, website-experience measurement, security, recruiting, embedded content, marketing, or advertising. Depending on the service and purpose, a provider may process information on Resource Data’s behalf or may process certain information under its own privacy terms.

The current Cookiebot declaration identifies the providers associated with detected cookies and similar technologies. You may also review the applicable provider’s privacy notice for additional information about its practices.

7. Your Choices and Privacy Controls

You can use the Your Privacy Choices link in the Site footer to manage available cookie and tracking preferences and, where applicable, privacy choices relating to the sale or sharing of personal information. Some Necessary technologies may not be available to disable through those controls because they support core Site functions, security, or the storage of privacy choices.

You can also use your browser or device settings to block, limit, or delete cookies and other stored information. Browser and device controls vary. Blocking or deleting technologies may affect Site functionality, and deleting cookies may also remove preferences previously stored on your device.

8. Global Privacy Control and Other Opt-Out Preference Signals

Resource Data honors legally recognized opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC), as described in our Privacy Policy. A qualifying signal is treated as an opt-out request for the browser or device and any associated profile that Resource Data can reasonably identify, as required by applicable law.

GPC is distinct from ordinary browser cookie settings and from Do Not Track. A GPC signal communicates an applicable privacy opt-out choice; it does not necessarily disable every cookie or similar technology used by the Site.

9. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. The Site does not currently respond to browser DNT signals. DNT is separate from GPC and other legally recognized opt-out preference signals that Resource Data processes as described above and in our Privacy Policy.

Resource Data may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our technologies, practices, or applicable requirements. When we make changes, we will update the Effective / Last Updated date above and provide any additional notice required by applicable law.

The Cookiebot declaration may change as cookies and similar technologies used on the Site are added, removed, or updated.
